Healthy Restaurant Options in the Denver Area

Eating healthy in the Denver area isn’t much of a challenge when you consider all of the accommodating restaurants and eateries around town. Here are some of the newest spots to open in Denver that have tons of choices within their health conscious menus. As a personal trainer, running coach, and fitness nutrition specialist in the Denver Area, these are all places that I can put my stamp of approval on! If you’re embarking on an adventure around town in addition to checking out one of these destinations, be sure to consider the addition of a Denver Limo Service.

Zoe’s Kitchen

2023 S Colorado Blvd in Denver

Zoe’s is a Mediterranean style restaurant. This University Park location is their newest in the area, and they cater to all kinds of dietary restrictions from Paleo to Vegan. Most of the items on their menu don’t exceed $10, so it’s an affordable spot as well. Some notable dishes include the chicken kabobs, cauliflower chicken rice bowl, and the hummus and vegetable platter.

PokeCity Downtown

If you’ve never had a poke bowl before, you’re missing out! These are delicious bowls that start with raw cubes of marinated fresh fish and then are layered with different ingredients. In other words, deconstructed sushi! There are so many options to choose from here – the possible combinations are endless. If you’re overwhelmed with the choices, you can ask one of the staff members about the most popular choices.

This modern, contemporary Japanese eatery is new to the area. You can build your own hand-held sushi roll, and the portion size of most of their dishes is impressive. They also offer other unique healthy menu choices like their eggplant burrito with avocado, asparagus, and lightly breaded shrimp tempura.

This upscale casual bistro in Littleton has a lot to offer! They have a wide selection of gluten free meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It has a cozy atmosphere, and there are two patios for eating outdoors when the weather is agreeable. Their happy hour boasts 50% off drinks every day!
